Butterfly in the sky…

…I can go twice as high. Take a look, it’s in a book. A reading rainbow!

Like many of you out there in the Twittersphere today, I realized it was the 30th anniversary of “Reading Rainbow”!

“Reading Rainbow” was a highlight of my childhood, so I thought I’d take a second to pay tribute. I can honestly say that this show was integral in making me the book nerd I am today! I remember an episode about eggs where the host, LeVar Burton, stood on a bunch of chicken eggs wrapped with a little bit of clay to demonstrate their strength. I was amazed! (Obviously, I still remember that 20 something years later).

LeVar Burton and business partner, Mark Wolfe, created RRKidz to preserve the legacy of the show and continue the brand today. Pretty awesome!
